Bachelor of Arts University of Maine
Studied US government, comparative politics, international law, and constitutional law with course work in business, economics, communications, and psychology.
Master of Public Administration (MPA) University of Maine
Studied public policy, human resources management, organizational theory, research methodology, and public financial management as part of a professional master's degree program. Graduated with honors as a member of Pi Alpha Alpha national honor society for public administration. In addition to relevant course work, served as an intern with the finance department of the City of Bangor, Maine.
Member Souhegan Cooperative School Board
Elected official working within a complex administrative structure that includes multiple school boards, building administrators, district administrators, and community council to effectively lead Souhegan High School through an evolving, and sometimes volatile, period in public education. Serve on the Joint Facilities Advisory Committee and Superintendent Search Development Committee.
New Hampshire State Representative
Elected official serving the Town of Amherst, New Hampshire responsible for conducting policy research, drafting bills, evaluating programs and assessing how legislation will affect the state's budget, and assisting constituents with navigate administrative issues at all levels of government.
Board Member at Souhegan Regional Landfill District
Serve on the board of directors, representing Amherst for the Souhegan Regional Landfill District. The board is responsible for providing recycling and municipal solid waste services to the communities of Amherst, Brookline, Hollis, and Mont Vernon, New Hampshire. The board researches alternative waste services to remove reusable and recyclable material from the waste stream. Solicits proposals and grants contracts for disposal and transportation of waste generated within the four communities.

Responsible for internal financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting, as well as operations controls and analysis for five divisions of Casella Waste Systems in Central and Southern Maine.

Wrote grant applications on behalf of member communities. Compiled and analyzed demographic data for Eastern Maine communities to target development efforts and prioritize projects. Researched and co-authored a report on the economic impact of the collapse of the ground fishery in the Gulf of Maine.
